Singapore lah! (and a photo dump)
i love love Singapore. i love it to the point that i am seriously considering relocating there and leaving everything and everyone in Manila (well everyone but my boyfriend. i'm going to drag him along with me).
when i heard that one of his favorite bands, Four Year Strong are playing in Scape Warehouse, i did not hesitate and immediately booked tickets for us for 3 days.
unfortunately, the gig got cancelled, but we decided to go on with the trip anyway, because it was Carlo's first time there. (plus we have more time to go around and shop!)
First Day:
Our flight was a bit bumpy and we got restless after an hour in the plane, but hey it's Cebu Pacific and I got the tickets for cheap. so i'm not complaining.
What was sad though, is that we landed at the budget airport, I wanted to show Carlo the shops on the main terminal, and was planning on doing last minute shopping there. This is what i get for being cheap. Oh well, there's always a next time.
After dumping everything at the hotel, we had a quick bite at the nearest hawker place and took the MRT to Vivo City, and a tram to Sentosa.
For dinner we head on to Food Republic in Vivo City
Second Day:
We struggled to wake up early, only because we spent our first day walking til our legs hurt.
We took a cab to Mustafa Center, checked out the mall and walked to the nearest bus stop going to the zoo.
The zoo was awesome! It was probably the highlight of the trip. I love everything about it! It was good that we were there just in time for feeding of some animals.
